About the framework

South Western Sydney Local Health District has a long history of engaging with the community on local and national issues. This Framework has been specifically designed to meet today’s needs while being aware that the way people seek information is constantly changing and evolving.

What work has been done so far?

  • Reached out through online and in-person distributed surveys
  • Conducted consultation sessions with consumer groups
  • Reviewed feedback received through the many engagement activities that SWSLHD attend
  • Conducted a program evaluation workshop with consumers, staff and stakeholders
  • Benchmarked against national models of best practice engagement.
